A hallmark of the Young Israel of Stamford - during the Yamim Noraim and throughout the year - is the open doors of our programs and community. We proudly maintain our tradition of not charging for seats at any of our services, understanding that personal Teshuva and Tefillah contribute significantly to our communal experience. This should never be dependent on whether or not - or how much - a person is able to pay.
Why do we have a Kol Nidre appeal? This yearly appeal, constituting one-third of our operating budget, is vital to our continued growth. It allows us to enhance our shul, fund essential educational, social, and youth programs, and secure our long-term sustainability. However, there's a deeper, more personal aspect to this. Money is an expression of value. When you give Tzedakah to our shul, it's far more than a financial exchange; you're making a profound statement about what you hold dear, reflecting your commitment to our community.
We suggest that every family contribute $1200 or more, in accordance with your financial capabilities. Please take a moment to respond with your generous Kol Nidre pledge below, solidifying your commitment to our shared values & vision.
Thank you for being a part of this extraordinary community, and may this year bring you and your loved ones health, prosperity, and fulfillment.
